As RFID Gate (Engl. = Goal) refers to an arrangement of several RFID antennas (qv) communicate by means of a multiplexer with an RFID reader. During acquisition of the RFID transponder data as opposed antenna pairs are turned on. Depending on the read range and size of the gate or RFID gates accordingly many antennas must be set up and controlled intelligently.
